The HOT gasket utilizes high recovery, heat treated Inconel windings and inhibited Flexicarb graphite, with a high heat shield (on both inside and outside diameters) to protect against “graphite oxidization”. The HOT gasket overcomes the problems associated with leakage due to a deterioration of gasket materials at High Temperatures.
